HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver
Location: Bedford
Pay Rate:£17.00 per hour

Workchain is currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join a well-established logistics company based in the Bedford area. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for long-term, ongoing work with flexible shift patterns and regular long-distance runs.

The Role

• Delivering products to customers across the UK.

• Completing long-distance trunking and delivery routes.

• Tramping throughout the week with overnight stays in the vehicle.

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time.

• Completing transport documentation accurately.

• Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time, and Road Transport Regulations.

Working Hours

• 06:00 AM starts

• Flexible shift patterns available

• Ongoing, full-time work

Pay & Benefits

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.

• Valid Driver CPC qualification.

• Digital Tachograph card.

• Previous Class 1 driving experience is essential.

• Previous tramping experience is advantageous.

• Reliable, flexible, and able to work away from home during the week.

• Strong understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations.
