Class 2 Driver (IPAF Preferred)
Location: Bedford
Salary:£39,600 per annum
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Workchain is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a leading plant and tool hire company based in the Bedford area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver looking for long-term work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

The Role

• Delivering and collecting tools, plant machinery, and equipment to customer sites.

• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintaining high safety standards.

• Loading and unloading equipment where required.

• Providing excellent customer service and representing the company professionally.

• Completing all delivery paperwork accurately.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday

• 05:00 AM starts

• Finish approximately

  13:30 14:00

• Overtime available

Salary & Benefits

• £39,600 per annum

• Overtime available to increase your earnings.

• Temporary to permanent opportunity.

• Weekly pay whilst working through Workchain.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.

• Valid Driver CPC qualification.

• Digital Tachograph card.

• Valid IPAF qualification is essential.

• Minimum 1 year's Class 2 driving experience.

• Previous experience delivering plant hire or tools is advantageous.

• Professional, reliable, and customer-focused attitude.
