Class 2 Driver Burton

£15.00 - £17.00 per hour | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity | Immediate Start

Workchain Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to join a busy retail distribution operation based in Burton.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver looking for regular, ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position. You will be responsible for completing store deliveries, working with roll cages, and providing an excellent service to customers at each delivery point.

The Role:

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle delivering goods to retail stores and commercial locations

• Completing multi-drop store deliveries across the local and regional area

• Delivering and collecting roll cages at customer sites

• Loading and unloading cages safely and efficiently

• Completing vehicle safety checks before and after each shift

• Ensuring all delivery paperwork and documentation is completed accurately

• Providing professional and friendly customer service at every delivery point

• Complying with all road transport legislation, including drivers hours and tachograph regulations

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence

• Valid Driver CPC qualification

• Valid Digital Tachograph Card

• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred

• Experience with store deliveries, multi-drop work, or cage deliveries is advantageous

• Good knowledge of drivers hours and working time regulations

• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
