We are working with an elite international law firm who are seeking a Senior Associate Solicitor to join their Projects & Construction team within their London office.


The Role

The successful candidate will join a global Projects practice, working on a range of non-contentious commercial, projects and construction matters to facilitate the development of high-profile nationally significant infrastructure projects. The candidate’s duties will primarily involve drafting and negotiating complex contracts (including NEC, FIDIC, PPP/PFI forms of contract and government contracts) both in the UK and internationally, spanning a variety of asset types (including transport, energy, utilities, social infrastructure and defence).


This role offers the opportunity to act for all sides of high-value transactions, including government and public sector bodies, contractors and suppliers, and lenders and financial institutions. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.


Essential Criteria:

  • 6+ PQE;
  • Strong background in projects, construction, and/or infrastructure work;
  • Excellent commercial awareness;
  • Outstanding academics;
  • Technically excellent;
  • Negotiation skills;
  • Willingness to become involved in business development;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
