Job description
Executive Assistant to the CEO
Central London | £55,000–£60,000 + Discretionary Bonus | Hybrid Working (3 Days in the Office)
We are partnering with a fast-growing international business to appoint an exceptional Executive Assistant to support its CEO. Working alongside the existing Executive Assistant, you'll become a trusted partner to a highly entrepreneurial leader, playing a key role in ensuring the CEO operates as effectively as possible whilst supporting the continued growth of the business.
With around 200 employees across three international offices, the organisation has established an impressive global presence and continues to expand. As the business grows, they are looking to strengthen their Executive Assistant function with the appointment of a second EA who enjoys working at pace, building relationships and becoming a genuine extension of the CEO.
Whilst there is an element of personal support, this is first and foremost a business-focused Executive Assistant position. You'll manage competing priorities, coordinate key business activities and act as a trusted ambassador for the CEO, building strong relationships with colleagues, clients and external stakeholders alike.
The Role
- Providing high-level Executive Assistant support to the CEO within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Acting as a true business partner, anticipating priorities and ensuring the CEO can focus on leading the business.
- Managing highly complex and ever-changing diaries across multiple international time zones.
- Coordinating extensive international travel, detailed itineraries and last-minute changes.
- Drafting, proofreading and responding to emails, letters and correspondence on behalf of the CEO, requiring exceptional written English, grammar and attention to detail.
- Acting as a trusted gatekeeper, exercising sound judgement whilst managing competing priorities and confidential matters.
- Working closely with the existing Executive Assistant to provide seamless support and ensure continuity across the CEO's office.
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the London office, helping to maintain a professional and efficient working environment.
- Coordinating leadership meetings, company events, off-sites and wider business initiatives.
- Providing personal support where required, including appointments, household administration and occasional visits to the CEO's London residence.
- Accompanying the CEO on business travel when required.
About You
- Significant Executive Assistant experience supporting a CEO, Founder, Managing Director or other C-suite executive within a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine business partner who enjoys anticipating needs, solving problems and acting as a trusted extension of senior leadership.
- Exceptional written communication skills, with outstanding grammar, spelling and attention to detail. You'll be confident drafting correspondence on behalf of the CEO to an impeccable standard.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and remain calm in a constantly evolving environment.
- Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working within a high-growth business where priorities can change quickly.
- Happy providing both business and occasional personal support when required.
- Discreet, trustworthy and confident handling highly confidential information.
- Based in London, with the flexibility to visit the CEO's residence when required.
What's on Offer
- £55,000–£60,000 depending on experience.
- Discretionary bonus.
- 30 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Hybrid working with three days per week in the office.
- Opportunity to join a fast-growing international business during an exciting period of expansion.
- Work in close partnership with an entrepreneurial CEO and experienced Executive Assistant.
- A varied role offering exposure across Executive Assistant support, office management and wider business operations.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant who thrives on building trusted relationships, enjoys working at the heart of a growing business and takes pride in making a real impact. If you're looking for a role where you can become a genuine right-hand support to a CEO whilst joining an ambitious organisation with an exciting future ahead, we'd love to hear from you.
