AI Legal Counsel Lead - Unique Opportunity

Rare opportunity to join a global technology-led organisation in a newly created legal role focused on emerging technologies, regulation and innovation.

This is a highly visible position sitting within a specialist legal team and working closely with senior stakeholders across the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the organisation navigate a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape while supporting the responsible adoption of new technologies and digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities will include:

• Providing strategic legal and regulatory advice on emerging technologies
• Advising on regulatory developments and business impact
• Supporting the development of governance and risk management frameworks
• Partnering with legal, compliance, risk, technology and operational senior stakeholders
• Assessing legal and regulatory risks associated with new products, services and initiatives
• Supporting engagement with regulators and external advisers where required

Candidates should have:

• Strong experience in a regulatory, technology, privacy, financial services or related legal discipline
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Experience operating in a complex and highly regulated environment
• The ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives
