Employee Relations Consultant

We're looking for an experienced Employee Relations Consultant to join a high-performing HR team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing complex ER matters, partnering with senior stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement across employee relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex and sensitive employee relations cases, providing commercially focused advice and ensuring fair, timely outcomes.
  • Partner with HR teams, managers and business leaders to deliver a high-quality ER service.
  • Coach and develop people leaders to build confidence and capability in managing employee relations matters.
  • Analyse ER data and trends to identify risks, provide insights and recommend proactive solutions.
  • Support the development of ER policies, governance and best practice.
  • Contribute to HR transformation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
  • Build strong relationships across HR and the wider business, acting as a trusted ER partner.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
  • Use case management systems to maintain accurate records and deliver against service standards.
  • Support wider ER projects and initiatives as required.


What We're Looking For

  • Strong employee relations experience managing complex casework.
  • Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Commercial mindset with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Confident using HR systems and interpreting data to drive decisions.
