FREELANCE QUANTITY SURVEYOR – Civil Engineering packages

LONG TERM FREELANCE ROLE IN EAST SUSEX REGION

£400 - £500PER DAY DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE AND ABILITY

2-3 sites to oversee + work from home + office x 1 day

Freelance Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor needed to manage the cost controls and cost reporting on between 2-3 civil engineering projects, each valued at circa £1m - £4m.

Quantity Surveyor should be self sufficient and be able to manage their own workload and responsibilities. A mixture of site based, home and office working.

• Sites are all within East Sussex and the South East areas.
• Reporting to Commercial Manager
• Working for a very established long established reputable business
• All clients are large blue chip construction organisations

Covering civil engineering and groundworks across:

• Retail, Healthcare, Commercial, Industrial, Technology, Motorsport and Heavy industry

Works will typically include:

• Bulk excavation and any ground remediation
• Ground beams and floor slabs
• Pile caps and foundations
• Specialist tanking installation
• Retaining walls and substructures
• Reinforced concrete sub-structures and any formwork
• Basements
• External works and hard landscaping
