With a strong reputation for delivering complex projects through technical expertise, collaboration, and a solutions-focused approach, they are looking to appoint an experienced Design Manager or Senior Design Manager to join their growing team
.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering the design process across projects ranging from £4m to £20m, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcome

Key Responsibilit

Managing the full design process from pre-construction through to project complet - ion.Leading design coordination across projects valued between £4m and £
- 20m.Reviewing and coordinating consultant drawings, specifications, and technical informat
- ion.Working collaboratively with clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and project te
- ams.Managing design programmes, ensuring key milestones and approvals are achie
- ved.Identifying design risks, resolving technical issues, and providing value engineering soluti
- ons.Chairing design meetings and maintaining clear communication between all stakehold
- ers.Ensuring compliance with building regulations, quality standards, and project requireme
- nts.Supporting the construction team with technical information throughout deliv
ery.
Skills and Require

Proven experience working as a Design Manager or Senior Design Manager within a main contracting enviro - nment.Experience delivering projects ranging from £4m
- –£20m.Strong technical knowledge and understanding of the construction design pr
- ocess.Experience across sectors such as commercial, residential, hospitality, leisure, refurbishment, or fi
- t-out.Strong understanding of design coordination, consultant management, and technical appr
- ovals.Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive the design process fo
- rward.Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving s
- kills.A proactive approach with the ability to work collaboratively within a project
