Senior Data Scientist | Telecoms | London (2 Days) | £78,000-£83,000 DOE + Strong Bonus

We are working on a fantastic opportunity with a telecoms powerhouse who is looking to hire a Senior Data Scientist due to organic growth.

The Company

The Role

This will be a hands-on position where you will be responsible for building, validating, optimising, and managing models and data pipelines, working within a Data Science function alongside Data Analysts and Data Engineers.

You will work on a vast array of projects. These could include personalised communications for customers, improving stock and demand forecasting, marketing effectiveness, maximising customer lifetime value, and reducing customer churn.

The Candidate

Key attributes of the suitable Senior Data Scientist include:

• Problem-solving: Proven ability to reframe ambiguous business questions into a clear analytical approach and deliver end-to-end solutions
• Technical modelling: Experience building models on both static and time series data, including propensity and forecasting models
• Coding skills: Advanced SQL, Python and PySpark skills, built on solid software development principles
• Stakeholder management: Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with strong communication skills
