HR Advisor | Southend | £40,000 | Hybrid working – 3 days office, 2 days home
Working as part of a supportive HR team, you’ll partner with managers across the business and provide practical, commercially focused advice.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coaching managers through ER matters, including absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance cases
- Building strong relationships with managers and becoming a trusted point of contact
- Supporting organisational change and workforce planning
- Using people data to identify trends and recommend improvements
- Contributing to engagement, reward and wider people initiatives
- Supporting HR projects that improve both the employee and manager experience
- Helping to strengthen HR processes, policies and ways of working
About you
You’ll ideally bring:
- Strong generalist HR and employee relations experience
- A sound understanding of UK employment law
- Confidence advising and influencing managers
- The ability to build credible relationships across a business
- Experience working with HR systems and people data
- A proactive, curious and solutions-focused approach
This role will suit someone who wants to understand how a business operates, not just deliver transactional HR support. You’ll be comfortable asking questions, offering a different perspective and taking ownership of your development.
