Project Manager – Private Sector

Central London | £45,000–£55,000 | Hybrid working


Madison Berkeley is working with a leading property and construction consultancy looking to appoint a Project Manager to its growing Central London team.


This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Project Manager with solid private-sector experience to join a friendly, sociable and ambitious office. You’ll work across a varied pipeline of commercial, residential, hotel and fit-out projects, taking responsibility for delivery while receiving strong support for your continued development.


The role

  • Manage projects from inception through to completion.
  • Act as Project Manager, Contract Administrator and Employer’s Agent.
  • Coordinate consultants, contractors and wider project teams.
  • Build strong relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Prepare and present project reports, programmes and other key deliverables.
  • Monitor project budgets, risks, timescales and commercial performance.
  • Support bids, business development and the continued growth of the private-sector offering.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the wider team.


About you

  • Previous project management experience within the private property and construction sector.
  • Experience delivering commercial, residential, hotel or fit-out projects would be advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of project management processes and construction contracts.
  • Confident, commercially minded and comfortable managing client relationships.
  • An excellent communicator with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • MRICS, MAPM or MCIOB qualified, or actively working towards chartership.
  • Able to manage your own workload while collaborating effectively with a wider team.
