Personal trainer & Member Success coach

Bianca Neagu Personal Trainer is looking for a Personal trainer & Member Success coach

Job description

We're a personal training studio in Edinburgh built on exceptional coaching, genuine relationships and a supportive community - every member gets personalised coaching, accountability and encouragement to become stronger, healthier and more confident. We're looking for an experienced coach who shares those values to join our growing team.

What we're looking for

Essential

  • Minimum 1 year coaching experience
  • Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for helping people achieve long-term results
  • Professional, reliable and organised
  • Eager to learn, develop and receive feedback

Highly desirable

  • Experience coaching small group personal training
  • Experience delivering personalised coaching to a wide range of abilities

Main responsibilities

  • Coach small group personal training sessions (maximum of five members), delivering an individualised experience for every member
  • Build strong relationships with members through regular check-ins, WhatsApp and email support, and personalised support outside the gym
  • Deliver fitness classes and contribute ideas to continually improve our coaching offering
  • Support community events and help create an exceptional member experience
  • Maintain the high standards of presentation and cleanliness throughout the studio
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the directors

What we offer

  • Ongoing training and mentoring to develop your coaching
  • Real career growth opportunities as the studio grows
  • A supportive, closely-knit team environment
  • Company pension scheme
  • Comprehensive health and dental insurance

This role is about far more than delivering sessions. You'll build meaningful relationships with members, adapt your coaching to suit different individuals, and play an active role in creating an outstanding experience inside and outside of the gym. Above all, we're looking for someone who is kind, professional, coachable and takes pride in delivering an exceptional experience to every member.

As part of the interview process, if you pass the first stage, you'll be asked to deliver a small group coaching session.

How to apply

Send us your CV, along with short answers to these two questions:

  1. What's one thing about our approach (from what you've seen on our socials/website) that made you want to apply?
  2. What does "personalised coaching" actually mean to you, in practice?
  3. Why coaching, specifically? What pulled you toward this over other paths?

Please answer in your own words - we'd rather hear a rough, honest answer than a polished AI-generated one, and it helps us get a genuine sense of who you are.

We'd also love a short video (60 seconds is plenty) introducing yourself - it helps us get a feel for who you are before we meet in person.
