The Role:

We are looking for a Driver to join our Team in Park Royal. In this role, you will deliver products and goods safely and efficiently to designated locations within set time frame. Ensure proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials and deliver high standards of customer care.
The shift for this role is 20:00 - 05:00 - 5 days per week including weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain communication with management to stay informed of any changes to deliveries, routes, or schedules.
  • Listen, observe, and actively contribute to discussions relevant to the job.

  • Complete daily paperwork to ensure the van's temperature and other food safety requirements are consistently monitored.

  • Deliver food across our branches in London efficiently and on time.

  • Understand and apply health and safety procedures relevant to the role, includingmanual handling, safe use of equipment, first aid and hygiene practices, and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

  • Pick and pack stock accurately.

  • Unload supplier deliveries promptly and safely.

  • Lift food trays and boxes regularly when loading and unloading the van.

  • Follow pre-planned routes accurately without deviation, considering possible traffic conditions.

  • Drive safely and comply with all driving laws and regulations to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

  • Keep the company vehicle clean, well-maintained, and ensure it has sufficient fuel, oil, water, and proper tyre pressure.

  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and work well within teams.

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships necessary for the role.


Our Requirements:

  • You must have a full clean driving licence type C and be able to drive a 26 tonne truck
  • You must have CPC and Digital Tacho Card
  • Ability to work in a team or individually
  • Can do, hands-on and proactive attitude
  • Good communication skills with a good command of the English language
  • Flexible to work various hours on shift rota basis, including weekends and evenings
