Job description

Role - Support worker - Learning Disabilities and Autism Must hold UK driving licence, please note this role may cover Paignton Brixham and Torquay supporting at different services.

Hours 8am-8pm 3 days per week

Additional - please note we are not offering sponsorship or change of sponsorship for this role and cannot accept those with visa restrictions

Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team at Burrow Down Support Services. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with learning disabilities, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life through personalized care.

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal care and meal preparation.

Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions.

Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.

Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive interactions.

Assist with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary.

Maintain accurate records of client progress and care plans.

Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to care.
