Solvit Recruitment are currently looking for 1 x HGV C1 7.5t Driver.

Induction Thursday 2nd July

Solvit Recruitment are recruiting for a local authority for 1 x C1 Driver to assist with the introduction of Food Waste Collection Service.

his role will involve delivering food caddies to residents in a timely manner, you will have a drivers mate with you.

Every house will be provided with free food waste caddies including a compact 7-litre indoor caddy designed for use inside the home and a larger 23-litre outdoor caddy for transferring waste.

We will require you to apply with an updated CV for this position.

Hours of work.

Monday to Friday 06:00 – 14:00. Friday you may have an earlier finish.

Pay

£15.06 excluding holiday pay

Or

£16.88 with rolled up holiday pay included.

Requirements.

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Understand Health & Safety.

• Comply with all Site Safety Instructions relating to all landfill sites, waste transfer stations and recycling merchant sites.

• Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication oral and written.
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries.
• HGV 7.5t (c1) experience.
• No DR, DD, TT, IN and not served any bans in the last 5 years.
