CareerMakers Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing weekend trunking work based in Carrington.

This is clean, straightforward depot-to-depot trunking with no manual handling, no loading or unloading just simple trunking runs using modern, well-maintained vehicles.

Whether you're looking to supplement your income with weekend work or prefer part-time driving, this role offers flexible shifts, excellent rates of pay and ongoing work every weekend.

Saturday Days £20.00 per hour or £22.41 per hour Including Holiday pay

Saturday Nights £21.00 per hour or £23.53 per hour Including Holiday pay

Sunday Days £21.00 per hour or £23.53 per hour Including Holiday pay

Sunday Nights £23.00 per hour or £25.77 per hour Including Holiday pay

The Role

• Depot-to-depot trunking.
• No manual handling or unloading.
• Drive modern, well-maintained Class 1 vehicles.
• Complete vehicle safety checks before and after each shift.
• Complete all relevant paperwork accurately.
• Follow all road transport legislation and health & safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience (new passes may also be considered).
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• No DD, DR or IN endorsements.
• Reliable, professional and punctual.
