Class 2 Driver

Driver Hire Darlington is currently recruiting a reliable and flexible Class 2 Driver to support our customers across the Darlington area. This is a supply/agency role, providing cover for driver sickness, holidays, and increased workloads with a variety of local businesses.

The Role for a Class 2 Driver:

As a Relief Driver, you will be covering a range of Class 2 assignments, including:

• Multi-drop deliveries
• Commercial and industrial deliveries
• Local and regional routes
• Customer-facing collections and deliveries
• Vehicle checks and daily paperwork completion
• Providing reliable cover for planned and unplanned absences

No two days are the same, and assignments may vary depending on customer requirements.

Requirements of a Class 2 Driver:

• Full UK Category C (Class 2) licence
• Valid CPC qualification card
• Valid Digital Tachograph card
• Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work at short notice when required
