HGV Class 1 Driver

24-7 Recruitment Services are recruiting HGV Class 1 Driver for a client based in Stoke-On-Trent. This will be an ongoing opportunity for day drivers. This position is a multi-drop position with handball involved on all deliveries.

HGV Class 1 driver will require:

Hold valid a Class 1 / C+E License

No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)

Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards

HGV Class 1 driver work will involve

Min of 10 drops up to 14 both caged and palletised.

Mixture of store deliveries and deliveries to RDCs

On store deliveries manual handling involved (loading/unloading).

HGV Class 1 driver shift patterns are

Start times 03:00 – 06:00

Start times 15:00 – 20:00

Tuesday to Saturday

Sunday to Thursday

Any 5 out of 7

HGV Class 1 driver PAYE pay rates are:

£17.89 Monday to Friday (0400 -1900)

£19.98 Monday to Friday (1900 – 0400)

£31.24 Bank Holiday (retains holiday)

Overtime £24.36 after 48 hours (0400 – 1900)

Overtime £27.46 after 48 hours (1900 – 0400)
