Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Working Hours: Monday Saturday, 08:00 17:00

About the Role\n

We are currently recruiting for a Laundry Delivery Driver to join a busy and fast-paced commercial laundry operation.

\n

This role combines delivery driving with manual handling duties and requires a reliable, hardworking individual who is comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Delivering and collecting laundry from customer locations.

\n

• Loading and unloading laundry bags and containers safely.

\n

• Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed on time and professionally.

\n

• Supporting the laundry operation when required.

\n

• Monitoring equipment and machinery, reporting any issues promptly.

\n

• Maintaining high standards of customer service.

\n

• Completing delivery paperwork accurately.

\nManual Handling Requirements\n

This is a physically active role involving regular lifting and moving of laundry bags.

\n

Examples include:

\n

\n
• Single collections or deliveries of up to 200 laundry bags weighing approximately 1015kg each.

\n

• Multiple daily delivery routes involving smaller quantities at various customer locations.

\n

• Loading and unloading vehicles throughout the working day.

\nCandidate Requirements\n

\n
• Full UK Driving Licence.

\n

• Previous delivery driving experience preferred.

\n

• Good level of physical fitness.

\n

• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.

\n

• Strong attention to detail.

\n

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.

\n

• Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team.
