HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Tramper Driver Full Training Provided

Location: Thurleigh
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off
Salary: £45,000 per year + £25 tax-free night out allowance + meal allowance
Pay: Weekly pay every Thursday
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Tramper Drivers to join one of the UK's leading vehicle logistics companies, based in Thurleigh.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Class 1 drivers looking to develop specialist skills in vehicle transportation. Car transporter experience is preferred but not essential, with full paid training provided.

The Role

• 4 on / 4 off tramping shift pattern
• Nationwide vehicle deliveries across the UK
• Transport up to 12 vehicles using modern car transporters
• Loading and unloading cars and vans
• Carrying out vehicle inspections before loading
• Delivering vehicles to dealerships, auctions, businesses and events
• Representing a leading logistics company in a professional manner

Full Training Provided

No car transporter experience? No problem!

If you hold a valid HGV Class 1 (CE) licence and have a good driving record, you can receive up to 4 weeks of fully paid specialist training through a leading Car Transporter Training Academy.

Existing car transporter drivers will receive up to 2 weeks of refresher and company-specific training.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (CE) licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum 6 penalty points
• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience
• Previous car transporter experience preferred but not essential
• Previous Class 1 tramping experience is advantageous
• Professional attitude and excellent customer service skills
