Location: Burton-upon-Trent area

Position: Ongoing Tramping Work / Flexible Shift Patterns (4-on-4-off, MonFri, or Weekend Blocks)

Pay Rates (LTD):

\n

\n
• \n Days: £19.50 / hr

\n

• \n Nights: £21.50 / hr

\n

• \n Saturday: £22.50 / hr

\n

• \n Sunday: £24.50 / hr

\n

• \n Night Out Allowance: £25.00 per night tax-free / non-taxable equivalent

\nAbout the Role\n

We are currently seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers for long-term, ongoing work with a major logistics provider operating out of the Burton-upon-Trent area.

\n

This role involves nationwide trunking and trunking/distribution runs, utilizing clean box trailers with minimal manual handling required. Multiple shift schedules are available to fit around your preferred working patternincluding standard MondayFriday tramping, 4-on-4-off rotas, or fixed weekend shifts.

\n

Duties include:

• \n Long-distance trunking and planned distribution across major UK routes

\n

• \n Clean, straightforward box trailer work with minimal manual labor

\n

• \n Managing required rest periods, daily vehicle checks, and digital tachograph logging

\n

• \n Keeping cab standards high during multi-day tramping stints

\nKey Requirements\n

\n
• \n Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence

\n

• \n Up-to-date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

\n

• \n Full flexibility for multi-night tramping stays

\n

• \n Sound understanding of EU Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive rules

\n

• \n Reliable, professional, and confident driving long distances nationwide
