Class 2 Driver (Category C) Manchester (M26 1GG) ?? Location: Manchester, M26 1GG\n ?? Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time\n ?? Salary: Up to £36,800 per annum\n \n Are you an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver looking for a permanent opportunity with a competitive salary and a great working pattern? We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and professional driver to join their growing team in Manchester.\n The Role As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering cable management and electrical distribution products to wholesale customers across the region.\n \n Your duties will include:\n \n

\n
• Completing multi-drop deliveries (typically 1215 drops per day)

\n

• Loading and unloading your vehicle safely

\n

• Providing excellent customer service during deliveries

\n

• Carrying out manual handling duties

\n

• Assisting in the warehouse when required, including picking and packing orders

\n

• Completing vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport regulations

\nWorking Hours\n

\n
• 45 hours per week

\n

• Monday to Friday (primarily)

\n

• Early morning starts

\n

• Flexibility required to meet business needs

\n

• Occasional overnight stays may be required, paid at an additional £24 per night

\nWhat We're Looking For\n

\n
• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence

\n

• Minimum 2 years' Class 2 multi-drop driving experience

\n

• Preferred clean driving licence

\n

• A professional, reliable and customer-focused approach

\n

• Physically fit, as manual handling is involved

\n

• Able to work flexibly when required

\nInsurance Requirements: Due to the company's insurance policy, applicants must:\n \n

\n
• Be 25 years of age or over

\n

• Meet the company's driver insurance criteria
