HGV Class 1 (CE) Driver – Knowsley

StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (CE) drivers for ongoing Store delivery work in Knowsley. We're looking for professional and motivated drivers for both AM and PM shifts, with immediate starts available. This is a well-organised operation offering consistent weekly bookings, and opportunities for full-time positions.

Pay Rates (PAYE)

\n

\n
• Monday – Friday AM: £17.55ph plus holiday pay, or £19.66ph including holiday pay

\n

• Saturday & Sunday AM: £23.40ph plus holiday pay, or £26.22ph including holiday pay

\n

• Monday – Thursday PM: £18.41ph plus holiday pay, or £22.22ph including holiday pay

\n

• Saturday & Sunday PM: £24.55ph plus holiday pay, or £29.63ph including holiday pay

What the role involves

\n

You'll be completing Store deliveries and trunking work, typically 1–3 drops per shift, Shifts are typically 10–12 hours, with 8 hours guaranteed pay, including paid breaks.

\n

You'll be working Monday to Friday with additional weekend work available. A paid 2-day assessment and induction is required before starting, followed by ongoing block booking opportunities and potential full-time positions.

\n

Start time 04:00 - 06:00 AM and 18.00 – 20.00

\n

\n

Our ideal candidate

\n

• Holds a valid HGV Class 1 (CE) UK licence held for at least 6 months'
\n • Has a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
\n • Has no more than 6 penalty points (no IN, DR, DD or TT convictions)
\n • Has good communication skills and a professional attitude
\n • Is physically fit and well-presented
