Class 1 Drivers

Based Nuneaton (Bermuda Park)

Monday to Friday (closed on bank holidays)

\n

Occasional Sundays

\n

Afternoon starts between 14:30 - 15:00

\n

8 - 10 hours shifts

\n

PAYE Rates

\n

Mon - Fri = £18 per hour (£20.17 with holiday pay inclusive)

\n

Saturdays: £18.50 per hour (£20.63 with holiday pay inclusive)

\n

Sundays: £20 per hour (£22.41 with holiday pay inclusive)

\n

Driver Require are recruiting Class 1 Drivers for a client based at Bermuda Park, Nuneaton. Temp to perm opportunities are available for the right driver.

\n

Main Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Local deliveries and collections all within the West Mids area

\n

• Use of manual pump truck in back of the trailer whilst forklift loads / unloads pallets

\n

• Ensure that daily vehicle checks are carried out and any defects are duly reported, ensuring the vehicle and its load are road-worthy and do not pose a threat to other road-users.

\n

• Liaising with Customers

\n

• Abide by customers rules and regulations whilst on site

\n

• Liaising with the Transport Team to ensure that they are kept appraised of the status of your delivery and whereabouts

\n

• Effectively managing your driving time so that you dont acquire infringements.

\n\n

Skills and Experience Required

\n

\n
• 12 months experience of driving Class 1 vehicles on UK roads

\n

• Maximum 6 points on licence with no major convictions (DD/DR/IN10's)

\n

• Driver CPC qualification card
