(New Pass) HGV Multi-Drop Driver

Join a respected and well-established logistics business as a HGV Multi-Drop Driver based in Chipping Norton. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver looking for regular work.

This role is ideal for drivers who enjoy being on the road, are confident completing multi-drop deliveries, and are happy with a hands-on role that includes manual handling, customer interaction, and early starts.

Benefits

• £16.00 per hour PAYE

• Starts times approx 0600

• Average of 50 hours per week during busier periods

• Immediate starts available

• Based in Chipping Norton

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver between 6 and 14 drops per day depending on route and workload

• Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle in line with driver hours, tachograph regulations, and road transport legislation

• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures

• Load and unload vehicles using a tail lift, with some routes involving manual unloading where required

• Complete all delivery paperwork, manifests, and delivery notes accurately

• Provide a professional and reliable service to customers at each delivery point

• Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time

Required Skills & Experience

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence

• No more than 6 penalty points

• Valid Driver CPC (DQC)

• Valid Digital Tachograph Card

• Previous multi-drop driving experience would be advantageous

• Good understanding of driver hours regulations and vehicle safety requirements

• Comfortable with manual handling and physical work

• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
