HGV Class 1 Drivers (LTD)

Location: Burton-upon-Trent area

Position: Ongoing / Flexible Shift Patterns (Days, Nights & Weekends)

Pay Rates (LTD):

• Days: £19.50 / hr

• Nights: £21.50 / hr

• Saturday: £22.50 / hr

• Sunday: £24.50 / hr

About the Role

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing work with a major distribution operator based in the Burton-upon-Trent region.

This operation runs 7 days a week across both day and night shifts, offering genuine flexibility whether you are looking for full-time shift rotas, specific fixed shifts, or weekend-only work.

Duties include:

• High-volume trunking and distribution work

• Managing planned delivery schedules efficiently and safely

• Performing standard daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Maintaining accurate digital tachograph records and POD documentation

Key Requirements

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence

• Up-to-date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Strong understanding of EU Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive regulations

• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude behind the wheel
