HGV Class 1 Driver

Job description

We currently have an opportunity for a Class 2 (Category C) HGV Driver to join a cash and carry wholesale business based in Lodge Farm, offering a competitive rate of £17 per hour while agency, and then £17.94 ph when permanent.

Role Overview:

• Driving a rigid (Class 2) vehicle delivering goods to retail customers, restaurants, and local shops

• Loading and unloading pallets or cages

• Completing delivery paperwork or electronic PODs

• Conducting daily vehicle checks and complying with driver hours and tachograph regulations

Hours:

• Start time: 05:00 a.m.

• 810 hour shifts (some overtime may be available)

• Monday to Friday (occasional weekends if required)

Pay & Benefits:

• £17 per hour
