Job description

Join a well-established national wholesale distributor supporting the food, retail and hospitality sectors across the UK. Were recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers for temporary, ongoing work based in Brighton, delivering goods to commercial customers in a professional and efficient manner.

Benefits

• Competitive hourly rate £17.00 - £19.50p/hr PAYE

• Weekly pay - Wednesday paydays!

• Ongoing temporary work and Temp-to-Perm opportunities!

• Monday to Friday

• Start times approx 0530am

• Average 10hrs per shift

• Immediate starts available

• On-site parking

Role & Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries to retail and hospitality customers

• Loading and unloading using tail lift and pump truck

• Ensuring accurate and timely deliveries

• Completing all relevant paperwork and POD documentation

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects

• Providing a professional and courteous service to customers

Required Skills & Experience

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card

• Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience preferred

• Good knowledge of Brighton and surrounding areas

• Strong work ethic and reliability

• Physically fit due to manual handling requirements

• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR/DD/IN endorsements)
