Chinese Speaking Assistant Clinic Manager

We are hiring for our client - a premium private health screening centre located in the heart of London. Our client specialises in structured health assessments, preventive medicine, and services tailored for their international clients, they are now expanding the clinical team and seeking qualified candidates to support their integrated, prevention-focused model of care.


Location: Central London

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time (Open to discuss)


Responsibilities

  • Support the Clinic Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring a smooth and efficient client journey
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling, client check-in/check-out, and screening programme logistics
  • Act as a first point of contact for clients, handling enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and with cultural sensitivity
  • Assist with staff rostering, onboarding, and day-to-day coordination of clinical and front-of-house teams
  • Monitor stock levels of clinical and office supplies, and liaise with suppliers on ordering and inventory management
  • Support compliance with CQC, health and safety, and data protection (GDPR) requirements, including maintaining accurate records
  • Assist in preparing reports, rotas, and operational documentation for the Clinic Manager and senior leadership
  • Help coordinate marketing, client communications, and community outreach activities
  • Communicate effectively with English- and Mandarin-speaking clients and staff to ensure a seamless, culturally sensitive experience

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in a clinic, healthcare, hospitality, or customer-facing operations/administration role
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-first mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning clinic management/booking systems
  • A high level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail

Desirable

  • Experience in a private healthcare, health screening, or medical clinic setting
  • Background in operations, office management, or team supervision
  • Familiarity with CQC standards or healthcare regulatory requirements
  • Interest in preventive medicine, wellness, and the international/expat client community
