HGV Class 2 ADR (Packages) Driver
Location: Bedford
Salary:£42,000 per annum
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Workchain is currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 ADR (Packages) Driver to join a leading client in the Bedford area. This is an excellent opportunity offering long-term employment with the chance to secure a permanent position.

Don't have your ADR qualification? If you're an experienced Class 2 Driver, our client is willing to support the right candidate in gaining their ADR (Packages) qualification.

The Role

• Delivering packaged hazardous goods to commercial customers.

• Completing deliveries safely and efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service.

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy.

• Completing all transport documentation accurately.

• Adhering to all Driver Hours, Working Time, ADR, and Health & Safety regulations.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday

• 07:00 AM starts

• 10+ hour shifts

• No weekend work

Salary & Benefits

• £42,000 per annum

• Temporary to permanent opportunity.

• Opportunity to gain your ADR (Packages) qualification if you're an experienced Class 2 Driver without ADR.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.

• Valid Driver CPC qualification.

• Digital Tachograph card.

• ADR (Packages) licence preferred, but not essential for experienced Class 2 drivers willing to obtain the qualification.

• Previous Class 2 driving experience.

• Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
