We are delighted to announce an uplift in rates for HGV 1 Drivers in the Swindon area - This has to be the highest rates of pay in the area!!

About the HGV 1 Driver role:

Various Shifts available including full time, part time, weekends, ad-hoc days - Just let us know what you are looking for!!
Work available across 7 days, with start various start times from 3am
Pay Rates
- £22ph - Mon to Fri, between 06:00 - 22:00
- £24ph - Mon to Fri, between 22:00 - 06:00
- £30ph - Saturday, between 00:00 - 23:59
- £34ph - Sunday & Bank Holidays, between 00:00 - 23:59
If you are looking for full time work we can guarantee 5 shifts per week (subject to signing up to a weekly shift pattern).

Duties for the HGV 1 Driver Role:

Delivering chilled, ambient and frozen foods across the South West
Store deliveries 2/3 drops per day
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards
Secure cargo properly using appropriate methods and equipment
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and health and safety regulations during operations

Skills / Experience required for HGV 1 Driver Role:

Minimum 6 months experience but will accept newly qualified drivers for temp to perm positions
Full valid CE Licence, Digi Card & Drivers CPC Card
Maximum 6 points for minor offences (No DR's, DD's etc)
A goood understanding of Driver's Hours & Working Time Directive
Ability to operate vehicles safely under various weather conditions
Good communication skills for liaising with customers and team members
