General Manager – Flagship Drive-Thru Restaurant


We're looking for an ambitious and commercially focused General Manager to lead the launch and ongoing success of a flagship drive-thru restaurant. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced QSR operator who thrives in high-volume environments, enjoys building high-performing teams, and wants to play a key role in growing an exciting business.


The successful candidate will take full ownership of one of the company's most important locations, leading a team of around 30 employees while driving operational excellence, profitability, and an outstanding guest experience.


Key Responsibilities


  • Take full ownership of the day-to-day operation and commercial performance of the flagship drive-thru restaurant.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 30 employees, creating a high-performing and engaged culture.
  • Manage full P&L responsibility, ensuring strong financial performance and cost control.
  • Control key business metrics including food costs, labour, productivity, and overall operational expenditure.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences while maintaining outstanding food quality and service standards.
  • Drive sales growth, maximise profitability, and identify opportunities to improve business performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, health & safety, and company operational standards.
  • Recruit, train, and develop future leaders within the business.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to execute operational strategies and support the continued growth of the brand.


Requirements


  • Previous General Manager experience within a high-volume QSR, drive-thru, or branded hospitality environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven experience managing full P&L responsibility.
  • Experience leading large teams and developing high-performing managers and employees.
  • Track record of delivering excellent operational standards while driving sales and profitability.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people development skills.
  • Highly organised, resilient, and capable of making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to complete a comprehensive training programme prior to taking ownership of the site.
