Performance Consultant (PPC/Paid Social/Paid Media)

House of Performance (HOP) is looking for a Performance Consultant (PPC/Paid Social/Paid Media)

Job description

Performance Consultant Job Description

Who We Are

House of Performance (HOP) is a fast-growing performance marketing agency with big ambitions, a people-first mindset, and an unwavering passion for helping brands grow.

We’re proud of our work, our clients, and our culture and we’re thrilled to have recently been named “Stand Out Agency of the Year” at the Digital Excellence Awards 2025.

The Role

As a Performance Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in contributing to client growth strategies, developing campaign performance, and mentoring junior consultants.

You’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding work across paid media channels (PPC, Paid Social, and Display) - driving measurable ROI, developing forward-thinking strategies, and contributing to the continued growth of the agency.

This is an opportunity for someone who understands PPC and Paid Social and is ready to step up: to lead smaller accounts, investigate new platforms and features and help define best-in-class performance marketing for some of the UK’s most ambitious brands.

What You’ll Do

  • Work on a portfolio of client accounts - typically 4 - 6 brands across paid search and paid social. You will lead smaller accounts, and work well in a team on larger, more complex accounts.
  • Develop integrated paid media strategies across PPC, Paid Social, and Display that align with client objectives and business goals.
  • Drive campaign implementation, optimisation, and testing across channels, ensuring every pound spent drives impact.
  • Be a trusted advisor to clients - guiding them through data insights, platform changes, and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with platform partners (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) to leverage beta opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Contribute to the agency through blogs, webinars, and internal knowledge-sharing sessions.

What We’re Looking For

We’re after someone who combines technical expertise with commercial insight and a proactive, positive approach.

You’ll likely have:

  • 2+ years’ hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns (PPC, Paid Social, and/or Display).
  • Proven success in driving measurable performance outcomes - increasing ROI, improving conversion efficiency, and scaling budgets effectively.
  • Experience in communicating with clients effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills - you understand data deeply and use insights to shape strategic decisions.
  • Proficiency with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics (GA4), Excel, and PowerPoint
  • A growth mindset - you love testing, learning, and evolving your craft (you should be comfortable with features like PMAX, AI Max and Advantage+).
  • Hunger for change and AI – you’ll be comfortable with exploring new tools, investigating new tech and features. You want to learn new platforms and evolve your craft.
  • Natural curiosity and a genuine passion for performance marketing

What We Offer

  • Salary: £30,000 – 40,000 (based on experience)
  • Hybrid working: 2 days per week in our Blackfriars office (Tuesday & Thursday. During probation you will be required to attend the office 3 days. Additional day is usually Weds or Fri.
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Pension contributions
  • Monthly perks & team socials (think Harry Potter World, summer parties, and lunches!)
  • Free Gym
  • 6 free therapy sessions per year (provider of your choice)
  • Opportunity to shape the future of a fast-growing, award-winning agency

Why HOP?

At House of Performance, you’re not a small cog in a big wheel. You’ll have real influence, creative freedom, and the chance to make your mark on an agency that’s scaling fast and thinking big.

If you’re ready to lead, grow, and help redefine what performance marketing excellence looks like - we’d love to hear from you.
