RoleAs Technical Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the business maintains full compliance with food safety, quality, and industry standards. You will lead the Food Safety & Quality Management System, oversee HACCP processes and work closely with operational teams to drive best practice across the s
ite.
Key Responsibil
- itiesLead and maintain the Food Safety & Quality Management System (
- QMS).Ensure HACCP plans remain effective, current, and fully impleme
- nted.Manage compliance with BRC, GMP, FEMAS and relevant UK and EU food regulat
- ions.Oversee food safety records, traceability documentation, and product quality cont
- rols.Manage supplier approval processes, specifications, and accreditation documenta
- tion.Handle customer and supplier technical queries and documentation requ
- ests.Conduct internal audits and manage corrective and preventative act
- ions.Ensure document control processes are maintained and regularly revi
- ewed.Manage relationships with pest control and cleaning contractors, ensuring recommendations are impleme
- nted.Audit hygiene and cleaning standards to drive continuous improve
- ment.Develop and deliver food safety training across the production environ
- ment.Support the delivery of health and safety training initiat
- ives.Work collaboratively with department managers to maintain and improve operational stand
ards.

Essential Exp
- eriencePrevious experience in a Technical Manager, Quality Manager or Senior Technical role within food manufac
- turing.Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety systems and quality mana
- gement.Experience working with BRC, GMP and food industry compliance sta
- ndards.Proven internal auditing expe
- rience.Experience managing technical documentation, supplier compliance, and traceability s
- ystems.Strong problem-solving and decision-making
- skills.Ability to influence and engage teams across production and operational fun
ctions.
