Receptionist / Site Assistant Part Time

We are currently looking for a permanentSite Assistant / Receptionistto join our friendly team at Dunbar Cement Plant.

This role is site based 5 days per week, Monday to Friday on a part-time basis of 22 hours per week.

We are looking to hear from candidates who could work the following pattern:

Monday 7:45am - 3:45pm, Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 1.00pm - 3:45pm & Friday 7.45am -3.30pm.

Role Responsibility

In the role of Site Assistant / Receptionist you will be responsible for:

  • Being the first point of contact for the site at Dunbar; this will include welcoming visitors and conducting basic checks
  • Ensuring induction for all visitors and compliance with site security procedures
  • General office administration and support for site
  • Supporting with administration of projects and initiatives
  • Organising and supporting the provision of training
  • Providing ad hoc support to the wider site as required
  • Contributing to and supporting the health and safety culture onsite, including being an ambassador
  • Maintenance of records, long-service awards, organising and supporting health surveillance on site.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for the role of Site Assistant / Receptionist will have experience in a similar role as well as experience of:

Excellent IT skills (MS Office)

General administration experience

Knowledge of a fast-moving working environment

Working independently

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Organisational and prioritisation skills with attention to detail

Problem solving and trouble shooting skills
