Job description
We are working with a renowned international law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Investment Funds team within their London office.
The Role
The successful candidate will join an elite Investment Management practice, advising a variety of international and domestic clients across a broad range of asset classes, such as investment banks, managers, and private equity managers. The candidate will advise clients across a diverse range of funds matters, including reviewing transaction documentation, drafting and negotiating fund documentation, and the structuring, establishment and operation of fund products.
The candidate will play a key role in supporting the firm’s client base in the establishment of all types of fund structures across a range of investment strategies. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to contribute to business development while managing client relationships.
Essential Criteria
- 5+ PQE;
- Strong background in investment funds, asset management, and offshore Fund Structures within a medium to large commercial law firm;
- Excellent commercial awareness;
- Outstanding academics;
- Technically excellent;
- Negotiation skills;
- Willingness to become involved in business development;
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
