Employment Associate / Senior Associate (4+ PQE)

Location: Remote (UK)


An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Employment Associate or Senior Associate (4+ PQE) to join a highly regarded national Employment team.


This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters for a diverse client base spanning both the public and private sectors. You'll advise on complex workplace issues, support major organisational change projects and work closely with clients on strategic employment matters.


The Role


  • Manage your own caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
  • Advise employers on a wide range of employment law issues, including disciplinary and grievance matters, restructures, redundancies and employee relations.
  • Handle Employment Tribunal claims from inception through to resolution.
  • Advise on TUPE matters, including business transfers, outsourcing arrangements and organisational change projects.
  • Support corporate and commercial transactions by providing employment due diligence and advising on workforce-related risks.
  • Draft and negotiate employment documentation, including contracts, settlement agreements, policies and procedures.
  • Deliver practical, commercially focused advice to clients across a range of sectors.
  • Work closely with colleagues across multiple legal disciplines on complex and high-value matters.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, client training and relationship management.
  • Support and mentor junior members of the team where appropriate.


About You


You will be a qualified Solicitor with at least 4 years' PQE and have experience across a broad range of employment law matters.


You should have:

  • Strong experience advising employers on both contentious and advisory employment matters.
  • Experience of Employment Tribunal litigation.
  • TUPE and transactional employment experience.
  • The ability to provide clear, pragmatic and commercially focused advice.
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to business development and networking.
