Currently we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join a specialist inpatient mental health service supporting adults with complex needs. In this role you will provide leadership, clinical oversight and evidence-based psychiatric care, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality outcomes for service users. The service is committed to supporting recovery and delivering personalised treatment pathways in a structured therapeutic environment.
Salary: Dependant on experience, up to £170k + £5,000 car allowance

Setting: Neuro Rehab
Location: Swindon, Wiltshire
Your key responsibilities will be;
- Lead psychiatric assessment and formulation of individual care plans
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to medical teams
- Manage complex clinical cases in acute or rehabilitation settings
- Undertake Responsible Clinician duties under the Mental Health Act
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and ward rounds
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance and statutory standard
For this role, we’re looking for someone who has;
- Full GMC registration and CCT in psychiatry
- Specialist registration in General Adult or relevant psychiatry
- Experience in inpatient psychiatric care and risk management
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Commitment to high quality, evidence-based practice
