Driver Hire is recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's leading independent foodservice distributors based in Chesterfield. If you're a reliable Class 2 (Category C) Driver who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, this is an opportunity you won't want to miss.

Pay & Hours

• £16.00 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• 10:00am starts
• 5 shifts per week
• Ongoing work with the opportunity for long-term assignments

Your Role

You'll be delivering food products to restaurants and customer locations, ensuring every delivery is completed safely, accurately, and on time. As the face of the business, you'll provide outstanding customer service while maintaining the highest professional standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering products safely and efficiently to customer sites
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety inspections and temperature checks
• Loading and unloading your vehicle safely
• Picking and checking orders against delivery paperwork
• Following planned delivery routes and schedules
• Ensuring all deliveries are accurate before leaving site
• Keeping your vehicle and load secure throughout your shift
• Complying with all Driver Hours, Tachograph, and transport legislation
• Providing a friendly, professional service at every stop

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 2 driving experience is an advantage
• A professional, reliable, and customer-focused attitude
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Good communication skills and a positive work ethic
