Senior Legal Counsel - Insurance

Job description

I'm currently partnering with a highly successful PE-backed business on the appointment of a Senior Legal Counsel.

This is a rare opportunity for a contentious insurance lawyer with experience in personal or commercial insurance lines looking to move into a commercial, regulatory and strategic advisory work in a fast-moving environment.

What makes this role particularly attractive is the longer-term trajectory. The business views legal as a strategic partner and is seeking someone with plans to grow into a future Head of Legal position.

You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, advising on a broad range of commercial and regulatory matters while helping to support the next phase of growth.

Ideal for lawyers with:

• 5+ years' PQE
• Strong insurance experience - contentious or non-contentious
• A keen interest in regulatory matters
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Ambitions to progress into legal leadership
