HGV Class 2 ADR (Packages) Driver Long-Term Ongoing Role

Cranbrook, Kent

£18.85-21.13 per hour | Overtime £28.28-31.69 per hour

Driver Hire Ashford & Tonbridge are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Class 2 ADR (Packages) Driver based in Cranbrook.

This is a long-term sickness cover position, with work expected to continue until January 2027. If you're looking for regular hours, excellent rates of pay and a long-term opportunity with a well-established company, we'd love to hear from you.

Newly qualified ADR licence holders are encouraged to apply previous ADR driving experience is not required, as full training will be provided.

Working Hours

• 42.5 hours per week
• 6:00am starts, Monday to Friday
• Some Saturday work required
• Overtime paid after 42.5 hours

Pay & Benefits

• £18.85-21.13 per hour

What You'll Need

• HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Digital Tachograph Card
• ADR (Packages) licence
• A minimum of 90 days' HGV driving experience within the last 12 months (insurance requirement)
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DD or DR convictions within the last year

Your Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries of gas cylinders to residential and commercial customers, including rural locations
• Carry out manual handling as part of your daily duties
• Deliver excellent customer service at every delivery point
• Work safely, professionally and in line with all company procedures and transport legislation
