Class 1 Driver

Were currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Driver to work with a well-established logisticscompany based in Chesterfield, S44.The work will involve delivery to retail and refrigerated distribution.

As a Class 1 Driver, youll be responsible for:

• Trunking between depots and RDCs

• Operating fridge or curtain-side trailers, depending on the load

• Delivering a mix of chilled, frozen, and dry goods

• Unloading pallets using a pump truck and operating a tail lift safely

• Ensuring all paperwork and delivery notes are completed accurately

• Maintaining professional standards and excellent customer service at all times
  
  

• Start Times: Flexible early morning and afternoon starts

• Days: Monday to Friday (weekend work available)

• Shift Length: 1012 hours per day

• Pay Rate: £18.00ph PAYE

• Weekly pay every Friday
  
  

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence

• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card

• Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience

• Experience with fridge or curtain-side trailers preferred

• Ability to operate a pump truck and tail lift safely

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
