• HGV Class 2 Driver Evening Shift (Immediate Start)Job Specification

  Join an established, leading independent UK distributor as an HGV Class 2 Driver. You'll be the face of the business, providing a professional frontline service to customers while ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods.

  Key Responsibilities
  • Transport goods and deliveries safely and efficiently to customer locations.
  • Complete multi-drop deliveries, including routes into London.
  • Build strong working relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Use your knowledge of the local area to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
  • No loading or unloading required driving duties only.
  Working Hours
  • Sunday to Friday (Saturday fixed day off)
  • Evening/Night Shift: 7:00 PM 4:00 AM
  • Immediate Start Available
  • Depot Location: Dagenham
  Pay Rates (Including Holiday Pay)
  • Sunday/Bank Holiday Night: £23.00 per hour
  • Monday to Friday Night Shifts: £20.00 per hour
  • Guaranteed 8 hours' pay per shift.
  Requirements
  • Current and valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
  • Minimum of 2 years holding an HGV licence and 1224 months' commercial Class 2 driving experience in the UK.
  • Clean UK driving licence.
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Good knowledge of London and the local region.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Own transport to travel to and from the Dagenham depot.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe driving practices.
