Hires Manager - Event Technology & Equipment

Office based / onsite

Angel N1, with possible relocation to North London

developing our reach and taking the department to even greater heights.


Key responsibilities


  • Promptly deal with enquiries - mostly emails and phone.
  • Advise client on requirements and options.
  • Discuss additional options – upsell if in client’s best interest.
  • Process hires once confirmed - Sub-hire equipment if required.
  • Ensure invoices are raised and payment is received before goods leave.
  • Oversee equipment preps in conjunction with warehouse manager.
  • Co-ordinate logistics for delivery and collection.
  • Ensure equipment and accessories are all returned and in good order – otherwise raise a Loss or Damaged note and take up with client.
  • Get feedback, ensure that hire was satisfactory and came up to client expectations.
  • Spot new opportunities.
  • Develop new markets and client accounts.


What you’ll need to have


• A successful track record gained in hires or event management.

• Wide ranging experience / knowledge of event technology: AV / Lighting / Sound / Staging

• Great IT skills with knowledge of rental packages and Microsoft Office.

• Experience in developing business.

• Applied knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.

• The ability to manage a team as well as work independently.

• A confident, friendly approach with a strong work ethic

Other information and how to apply


  • Full time, permanent position
  • Working Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30
  • Starting salary £32-44k depending on experience
  • End of year bonus
  • Paid overtime available
