StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (CE) drivers for ongoing Store delivery work in Thrapston & Islip. We're looking for professional and motivated drivers for AM / Afternoon / Nights shifts, with immediate starts available. This is a well-organised operation offering consistent weekly bookings, and opportunities for full-time positions.

Pay Rates (PAYE)

\n

- Monday to Friday AM - £17.45 per hour plus accrued holiday

\n

- Monday to Friday PM - £19.20 per hour plus accrued holiday

\n

- Monday to Friday Nights - £20.94 per hour plus accrued holiday

\n

- Saturday & Sunday AM – £22.68 per hour plus accrued holiday

\n

- Saturday & Sunday PM - £24.95 per hour plus accrued holiday

\n

- Saturday & Sunday Nights - £27.22 per hour plus accrued holiday

\n

- OT Rates up to £40.84

\n

- Guaranteed minimum pay 9 hours

\n

- Paid breaks

\n

- OT after 45 hours

\n

What the role involves

\n

You'll be completing Store deliveries and trunking work, typically 1–3 drops per shift, Shifts are typically 10–12 hours, including paid breaks.

\n

A paid 1-day assessment and induction is required before starting, followed by ongoing block booking opportunities and potential full-time positions.

\n

Start times around the clock

\n

\n

Our ideal candidate

\n

• Holds a valid HGV Class 1 (CE) UK licence
\n • Has a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
\n • Has no more than 6 penalty points (no IN, DR, DD or TT convictions)
\n • Has good communication skills and a professional attitude
\n • Is physically fit and well-presented
