About the Role:\n

We are currently seeking reliable and experienced Class 1 Day Drivers to join our team in Central Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers who are looking for a stable, full-time position with a well-established company. Youll be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently across local and regional routes.

Key Responsibilities:\n

\n
• \n Operate Class 1 HGV vehicles in a safe and professional manner.

\n

• \n Perform local and regional deliveries (no long-haul).

\n

• \n Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in line with company standards.

\n

• \n Complete all relevant paperwork, including delivery notes and vehicle checks.

\n

• \n Provide excellent customer service when delivering goods.

\n

• \n Adhere to traffic regulations and company health and safety standards.

\nRequirements:\n

\n
• \n Valid Class 1 HGV (C+E) driving license.

\n

• \n Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.

\n

• \n Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential.

\n

• \n A good understanding of UK road networks and safety standards.

\n

• \n Must have a reliable and punctual work ethic.

\n

• \n Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

\n

• \n Flexibility to work early mornings (6:00 AM starts) and occasional overtime if required.
