Driver Hire Stockport is currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver for our reputable client based in Stockport.\n \nThis role offers Monday to Friday work with 7:00am starts. You will be required to complete 23 nights out per week, so the ability to accommodate regular overnight stays is essential.\n \nPlease note that this is a temp-to-perm position. After completing 65 shifts with Driver Hire, you will then transfer to full-time employment with our client.\n Please note that new pass drivers will also be considered for this role- Interviews to be held ASAP\n Duties of this HGV Class 2 Driver will include:\n \n

\n
• Driving a HGV Class 2 vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws.

\n

• Carrying out required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance.

\n

• Maintaining regular contact with Branch Managers on daily progress.

\n

• Completing paperwork accurately as instructed.

\n

• Assist with loading and unloading the vehicle when necessary.

\n\n Our HGV Class 2 Driver Requirements:\n \n

\n
• A Valid Cat C Licence (HGV Class 2)

\n

• A Valid CPC Card

\n

• A Valid Digital Tacho Card

\n

• No more than 6 points (No DDs, DRs, INs, TTs endorsements)
