* BRAND NEW INCREASED RATES * BRAND NEW INCREASED RATES *We are delighted to announce an uplift in rates for HGV 1 Drivers in the Swindon area - This has to be the highest rates of pay in the area!!About the HGV 1 Driver role:Various Shifts available including full time, part time, weekends, ad-hoc days - Just let us know what you are looking for!!Work available across 7 days, with start various start times from 3amPay Rates £22ph - Mon to Fri, between 06:00 - 22:00£24ph - Mon to Fri, between 22:00 - 06:00£30ph - Saturday, between 00:00 - 23:59£34ph - Sunday & Bank Holidays, between 00:00 - 23:59If you are looking for full time work we can guarantee 5 shifts per week (subject to signing up to a weekly shift pattern).Duties for the HGV 1 Driver Role:Delivering chilled, ambient and frozen foods across the South WestStore deliveries 2/3 drops per dayEnsure all deliveries are completed accurately and on scheduleConduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standardsSecure cargo properly using appropriate methods and equipmentMaintain accurate delivery documentation and logsFollow all traffic laws, company policies, and health and safety regulations during operationsSkills / Experience required for HGV 1 Driver Role:Minimum 6 months experience but will accept newly qualified drivers for temp to perm positionsFull valid CE Licence, Digi Card & Drivers CPC CardMaximum 6 points for minor offences (No DR's, DD's etc)A goood understanding of Driver's Hours & Working Time DirectiveAbility to operate vehicles safely under various weather conditionsGood communication skills for liaising with customers and team membersApply now for the HGV 1 Driver role & we will be in touch!TPBN1_UKTJ
