Role:Residential Childcare Worker (Bank / Casual Worker Agreement)
Location:Preston & Surrounding Areas (Bamber Bridge, Walton-le-Dale, Lostock Hall, Leyland, Clayton-le-Woods, Chorley)
Pay:£12.75 per hour
Sleep-in Rate:£55 per sleep-in
Contract Type:Casual Worker Agreement (Bank)
Shifts:Flexible including long days (8am10pm) and sleep-ins

Training Requirement
All successful candidates will be required to commit to a2-week paid onsite training and induction programmebefore starting shifts. This ensures you are fully prepared to work safely and effectively within our services.
About the Role
Northridge Care Group is seeking flexible and dedicated individuals to join our bank of Residential Childcare Workers, supporting children and young people across our services on an ad hoc basis.
This role provides cover during periods such as staff sickness, annual leave, and training. Work is offered on a shift-by-shift basis depending on service needs.
As a bank worker, you will have the flexibility to accept or decline work offered, and there is no obligation on the Company to provide a minimum number of hours.
As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will:
Support children and young people in their daily routines and care plans
Promote independence, confidence, and life skills
Provide consistent, compassionate, and nurturing care
Help young people overcome challenges and celebrate achievements
Safeguard and advocate for the wellbeing of young people at all times
Contribute to a safe, stable, and supportive home environment
What Were Looking For
Were keen to hear from candidates who:
Hold a Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or
Have relevant experience working in childrens residential settings
Youll also be:
Resilient, reliable, and adaptable
Compassionate and committed to supporting young people
Comfortable working flexible shifts, including sleep-ins
